Well, I like the song. No name calling, just singing... I only wish they'd do away with the synth and use some more guitar. If this is the future of gospel, I like it!
In their confusion, they are referring to it as Makossa...
Nigeria always refers to congolese music as makossa. Awilo is the most popular Cameroonian there.
Nigerians are renouned (atleast in Cameroon) for great gospel music. My church back home used to have an Ibo choir (composed of Cameroonians and Nigerians but named after the Nigerian Ibo tribe).
This a very beautiful song. At the end: Onyamaleee! ........ The Great One
I was just browsing through some more gospel videos and the copying is totally exagerated. Some kids simply changed a song of the backstreet boys into gospel.
This one is obviously a remake of Awilo's Poro Kondo... Somewhere around the middle I here some Wazekwa-like stuff, even wazekwa's style of name calling is imitated but wait till the credits are rolling at the end. I laughed my bowels out at what the did to Awilo's Karolina! That is totally shameless http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQaa6qKGJqM&mode=related&search=

No one beats the Nigerians when it comes copying
Make sure your words are gentle just in case you have to retract them
